What Is Paint Correction?
Paint correction is a multi-step polishing process that removes swirl marks, oxidation, and surface scratches to restore the original gloss and clarity of your vehicle’s paint. It’s not just waxing — this is actual paint restoration, done safely and professionally in our in-shop, climate-controlled environment in Edmonton.
Paint Correction Packages & Pricing
-
Targeted buffing to remove isolated defects in small areas like door handles, trunk lips, or high-contact zones. Ideal for newer vehicles or recent scratches that haven't penetrated clear coat.
-
Entry-level correction for vehicles with light swirl marks or minor dullness. We perform a single pass with a mild polish to enhance clarity and gloss across all panels.
-
Our most popular correction package. A compound stage removes deeper swirls and oxidation, followed by a polish stage that restores deep gloss and color vibrancy.
-
Designed for high-end vehicles, show cars, or serious collectors. Includes multi-stage cutting and polishing to maximize depth, clarity, and reflection — topped with ceramic protection.
-
Rock chips and minor paint pits are filled, leveled, and blended using a professional touch-up and polishing system. Price varies by vehicle color, number of chips, and location.
Understand exactly what happens during your paint correction detail, from inspection to final polish.
-
We begin by inspecting the entire vehicle for existing paint defects, previous correction attempts, and clear coat condition. Vulnerable trim and edges are masked using automotive tape.
-
We perform a complete chemical and physical decontamination of the paint using iron remover, clay bar, and prep wash to ensure a clean surface for correction.
-
We use specialized tools to measure paint thickness across multiple panels. This helps us avoid over-cutting and tailor the correction approach for safety.
-
Using DA and rotary machines, we correct swirls, oxidation, and scratches using appropriate cutting and polishing compounds for each panel.
-
A final stage polish enhances the depth and shine of the clear coat, restoring optical clarity and reflective gloss to the finish.
-
After correction is complete, we apply your selected protection — either a long-lasting ceramic coating or a premium hand wax — to seal in the results.
