Cotton Soft Detailing didn’t begin in a studio or a commercial facility. It began during an Edmonton winter with basic tools, limited space, and a strong respect for doing things properly.

In 2017, our work started in a narrow, snow-covered driveway—one vehicle at a time. With a background in autobody painting and hands-on automotive work, the focus was never on shortcuts or surface-level results. It was about understanding materials, contamination, wear, and how to restore interiors and finishes with care and precision.

Early work came from friends, neighbours, and word-of-mouth referrals. Many jobs happened after long full-time workdays, continuing late into the night. Those hours weren’t about speed or volume—they were about learning, refining technique, and building a process that produced consistent, repeatable results.

As the business evolved, so did the standards. We invested time into education, certification, and process development across interior detailing, paint correction, and ceramic coating applications. Just as importantly, we built structured inspection procedures, documentation practices, and customer communication systems—because professional results require more than good tools.

Today, Cotton Soft Detailing continues to grow through reputation rather than promotion. Clients choose us because they value honesty, precision, and work performed to a defined standard—not because of packages or promises.
